Humanitarian Hero Award

Andrea is a woman of unwavering determination.

Despite facing adversity since her birth, she has become a beacon of inspiration and hope.

From the age of 9, she worked on television and collaborated in social assistance programs. Despite her obstacles, she was always involved in the community through the media and non-profit organizations in Loja, Ecuador.

In the United States, her life took a turn. She faced health problems and discrimination, but she did not give up.

She graduated from high school and became an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society.

After overcoming difficulties in her education, she became a legal and medical interpreter. Additionally, she wrote an inspiring children's book, “Bright Boy Changes the Girl's World,” based on her personal experience of overcoming bullying.

In 2022 she founded the Bright Boy Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing bullying and providing support to children, parents, and schools. Their message is clear: together we can end bullying.

Andrea's journey is a testament to resilience and the power of one person's determination to change the world.

Her story reminds us that even in the face of adversity, we can overcome obstacles and inspire positive change.

Through her foundation, she continues to spread love, support, and a message of hope to those who need it most.

Thank you
